YLC Assists - STEM Library Lab

Assists' January 2020 partner, STEM Library Lab (SLB), is in need of lending hands for an urgent opportunity that will greatly benefit their organization!  SLB received notification that a Central City school is being demolished soon and with it will go many valuable school supplies - most notably their whiteboards.  SLB needs help salvaging these so they can then distribute to schools who STILL have chalkboards.  

Volunteers are needed for any amount of time between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  Our work will consist of dismantling the whiteboards on site and bringing them to the school entrance for SLB to collect.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  Please email SLB's executive director, Todd Wackerman twackerman@stemlibrarylab.org, if you would like to assist!
