YLC Assists and Girls on the Run 5k Volunteer

Join us as YLC partners with Girls on the Run on November 9th at The Shrine on Airline to help make a difference in the lives of 3rd-8th grade girls across the New Orleans community. This 5K is a celebratory event that marks the end of the Girls on the Run (GOTR) season - where girls of all abilities were inspired to increase their physical activity, unlock their limitless potential, and confidently stand up for themselves and others. The 5K is a joyful day, complete with commemorative medals that reinforce the confidence and inner strength the GOTR girls have built throughout their after-school program. 

Volunteer tasks may include helping with set up/take down, registration, water/cheer stations, bib decoration, and breakfast service. Your support helps us deliver this life-changing experience but is a valuable opportunity to meet and network with other rising young professionals with a passion for giving back to the community.
