2024 Pickleball Tournament

We welcome you to join us for a pickleball tournament on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the City Park Tennis Center. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting YLC's projects and initiatives. The 2024 Pickleball Tournament is chaired by YLC Board Members Nick LaCour and Kristie Kaaa-O'Brien. 

Tournament Format:

• Doubles tournament (non-sanctioned) open to all players 18 & over (you do not need to be a member of YLC to participate)

• 2 brackets of approximately 20 teams each: pool play plus knockout round

• Advanced/Intermediate/Competitive Bracket

• Intermediate/Beginner/Leisure Bracket

• Each team is guaranteed 4 matches

• Pool play matches are to 11 points

• Knockout Rounds are to 15 points

• $50/person

• Refreshments will be provided

• YLC will provide balls, but players are asked to provide their own paddles.

When registering we will need to know:

• Name

• Contact Information

• How are you registering?

There are three options to register: 

1. 2-person team- If registering as a 2-person team, you must include your contact information, t-shirt sizes, and skill level of each player when registering.

2. Individually with a partner- If registering as an individual but have a partner, please provide the partner’s name. Partner must register within 7 days or the team will be placed on a waitlist.

3. Individually and needs a partner- If registering as an individual needing a partner, please email Nick LaCour at ntlac28@gmail.com to be paired with a similarly-rated player.

Skills Bracket:

Each team will be placed into a bracket after registration closes.

If a team has a preference for playing in the Competitive or Leisure Bracket, we will take that strongly into consideration in addition to each player’s rating.
