Description
The Green Project has been serving New Orleans since 1994. Its mission is to promote a culture of creative reuse by diverting usable materials from landfills and cultivating a respect for their value.
The mission is executed through three main pathways:
By selling used and teaching about reuse, we are able to provide affordable materials to the community, host low-cost and free workshops, keep usable goods out of the landfill and nearby waterways, preserve historic architectural pieces and educate residents about environmental issues.

We will be working in the paint yard helping to sort and mix paint. Wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on and close toed shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle!
