Favorite YLC Project or Campaign
My all-time favorite YLC campaign has to be the lighting of the Crescent City Connection bridge in the 1980s - is there anything more iconic? My current favorite project is YLC Fleurish. The focus on well-being and personal growth allows for really cool and inventive events like a self-defense class, plant care activity, and a compassionate goal-setting workshop.
What YLC means to Liz
New Orleans is the smallest town disguised as a big City - and because of that, it's very easy to stay silo-ed in the friend and professional groups you are familiar with. YLC has connected me with so many impressive people, doing even more impressive and impactful work throughout the city. I feel more connected to New Orleans than I could've on my own.
